Blue Sky Background

Meet Dr. Audrey E. Boggs

Audrey E. Boggs, Psy.D.

Dr. Boggs (A.K.A. "Dr. Audrey" or "Dr. A") has nearly two decades of experience supporting children, teens, young adults and families through emotional challenges. Dr. Boggs brings a deep understanding of developmental psychology and family systems theory to her practice. Her approach focuses on helping children and youth navigate complex emotions through evidence-based therapeutic techniques and family support.

Dr. Boggs obtained her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at Alliant Univeristy/California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco, CA. Additionally, she obtained postgraduate training in infant-parent mental health at University of Massachusetts, Boston as part of a Napa, CA based fellowship program. Dr. Boggs has dedicated her career to working with children, adolescents, young adults and families as a former solo practice owner and currently as a member of several group psychology practices.

Dr. Boggs spends her time providing direct clinical services, supervision and training. When she is unable to work directly with individuals and families, she refers to her very capable associate clinicians and prides herself in teaching and guiding their professional development.

Dr. Boggs specializes in cases of diagnostic uncertainty. She is often in the position of evaluating whether a nonverbal child is presenting with anxiety, selective mutism or developmental concerns such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or whether poor concentration and focus is due to anxiety, depression or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Her clinical specialties include anxiety disorders, selective mutism, learning and developmental disorders.

Dr. Boggs is a treating psychologist at Mindpath Health; Associate Clinical Director at Embracing You Therapy; and a lifetime professional member of Selective Mutism Association. Her offices are located in Calabasas and Woodland Hills, CA (Los Angeles County) and Dr. Boggs also provides services remotely via telehealth. Travel to other locations is also available by arrangement.
